About MingleFolks
MingleFolks is an international platform for discovering people, communities, events, businesses and creators around shared interests and goals — friendship, networking, travel, learning and more. It is not a dating-only service.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to give accurate information about yourself and to keep one personal account.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
Your content
You keep ownership of the posts, photos and messages you share. You allow MingleFolks to display that content to the audiences you choose, so the service can work. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break them or put other members at risk.
Meeting people
MingleFolks does not run background checks. Take sensible precautions when meeting anyone in person, and use block and report tools when something feels wrong.
Payments, subscriptions and refunds
Core features are free. Premium and Business plans and paid event tickets are optional. All payments are processed by Paystack; current prices are on our Pricing & Payments page.
Subscriptions. Premium and Business are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel renewal at any time in Plans & Billing; your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time.
Event tickets. A ticket is a one-time payment at the price set by the host. If the host cancels a paid event, every ticket holder receives an automatic full refund through Paystack. Hosts of paid events agree that MingleFolks keeps a 10% platform fee from each ticket sale; this comes out of the host's share and is never added to the buyer's price.
Suspension and disputes. If an account is suspended, its paid time and billing are paused and resume if the suspension is lifted. If a payment is disputed, related paid access is paused while the dispute is resolved.
Deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels active subscriptions, and tickets for upcoming events are refunded.
Changes and availability
We may update the service and these terms. We'll let members know about important changes. The service is provided as it is, and features may change over time.
