What we collect
Your email and sign-in details; the profile information you choose to add (name, username, photo, city or region, country, bio, occupation, interests and reasons for meeting people); and the content you create, such as posts, messages, communities, events and pages.
Location
MingleFolks only stores the city or region you type in. We never collect or show your precise location, and you can hide your location entirely.
How we use it
To run your account, show you relevant people, communities and events, deliver messages and notifications, and keep the community safe through moderation.
Who can see it
Your privacy settings control who can view your profile, message you, send connection requests and find you in search. Blocked members can't see you. Administrators can review reported content to keep the platform safe.
Payments
Payments for plans and event tickets are handled by Paystack. Your card and payment details are entered on Paystack's secure checkout — MingleFolks never receives or stores your card number. We keep only a record of each payment (amount, date, status and reference) so we can show your billing history and grant access.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. MingleFolks currently shows no advertising.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change privacy settings, or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, messages, connections, follows and pages.
